Introduction
Welcome to the Healthy Lifestyle Ambassador Webquest!
The Department of Education has decided that each school needs to create a team of Healthy Lifestyle Ambassadors to encourage healthy living to their school and local community. This position involves educating the school and local community on how to become and stay healthy. As well as winning this title for the rest of the school year you will also be presented with an award for your accomplishment.
In order to gain a position in the team, our school has decided to organize a range of tasks to find the candidates with the most knowledge of living a healthy life.
To complete your mission you will need to satisfactorily complete each of the tasks listed and present your work to your school. The six individuals with the most knowledge will become members of the Healthy Lifestyle Team.

Task 1 - Research via the Web (see Process for websites)
Task 2 - Create a plan and timeline using Inspiration
Task 3 - Create a 2 week menu plan including recipes for the whole family
Task 4 - Create a 2 week fitness plan for children or adults
Task 5 - Design a healthy lifestyle poster for display at school
Task 6 - Design a healthy lifestyle pamphlet using, for example, Microsoft Publisher
Task 7 - Design a healthy lifestyle Microsoft Powerpoint presentation
Task 8 - Organize a 5 minute healthy lifestyle speech to be presented at class assembly
Process
The below activities are expected to be completed in group. Your teacher will advise you of how much class time you will be given each week to complete the tasks.You must complete Task 1 and 2 before beginning the other tasks.

You are required to open the website attachment below and complete the research question sheet in the below attachment. Once you have completed this questionnaire you are required to give it to your teacher before proceeding to the next task.

You are required to complete a timeline for the other 6 activities. Which activity will you complete first and how are you going to complete it, what resources do you need to complete the task? This will need to be checked by your teacher prior to beginning the next chosen task.

Using the table provided by the teacher complete a two weekly food and exercise plan. You can use the websites for healthy food ideas. Make sure you include all your food groups and try to keep your food intake to the recommended amount of serves. For example, 5 serves of vegetables per day. You will also need to include the recommended amount of exercise per week and reflect this in your food and exercise plan. You must attach any recipes on a separate page.
